Set in a 1960’s era shopping center, the Good Food Store was a complete renovation of an existing grocery store. The GFS is Missoula’s main health food store and the owners cared about the shopping experience. Key features included quadrupling the previous store’s square footage to accommodate new departments, adding a cooking school, creating areas to eat both within and outside the store and developing a pedestrian friendly façade. The interiors are filled with natural light and natural materials.
