laPer the Missoula Downtown Master Plan, more parking is necessary at the south end of downtown to encourage visitors to come, play and stay. MMW’s vision was to create a structure that is a contributing cultural building to the downtown. A façade of anodized panels will dance as the changing sun reflects off them, with colors suggestive of the tawny hillsides and moods of the sky. Retail anchors the intersection. Inside, it has been designed for long-term bike storage, has plugs-ins for electric cars, locates Smart Car parking near to the entrances and is electronically equipped for smart phone applications.
