With an artist studio as part of the program, the studio served as the design impetus for the project. Tying to the history of place, the studio is designed with a modern sawmill style aesthetic. The rest of the home riffs off of the studio in its detailing. Expansive views in all directions will create a feeling of being in a cozy mountain lodge, with modern sensibilities.
