Every aspect of the new Butte branch was considered with the Clearwater’s mission in mind. The design includes local sourcing of materials, all electric energy efficient design, on-site energy production and is designed to be net-zero for operational energy use.
Situated in the heart of the Butte-Anaconda Historic District, careful considerations were made to design a historically compatible structure. The building design, with a dark brick façade and double height arches, draws from the historic context of Butte’s architecture while looking ahead to the future.
