Missoula Housing Authority

Providing permanent supportive housing to people experiencing homelessness, the building is designed with privacy and independence in mind. There are 12 one-bedroom units and each unit has its own private entrance on the south side of the building.

Each unit has a covered private balcony with opaque railing that create a private outdoor space. The neutral grey exterior walls are accented with a pop of sunflower yellow on the unit entry doors. This color palette makes for a modern yet upbeat exterior. Fir wood railing bring a natural warmth to the exterior of the building, providing a soft contrast to the dark grey while also creating a sense of privacy on the porch.
