This new family home will be located in the upper Rattlesnake neighborhood on a flat grassy valley site with large views to Mount Jumbo, Sentinel, and the surrounding hills. The minimal design was inspired by the mid-century modern homes of Palm Springs, but will incorporate local materials to tie it to place.
From the street, the home appears humble and private, however, it opens up dramatically to the south where the living and sleeping wings form an open sunny courtyard desinged for entertaining.
