Immanuel Lutheran Communities

The remodel and expansion of the memory care was designed to accommodate the needs of residents with various levels of dementia. This included twenty-four-bedroom units, living spaces to gather with loved ones, memory stations to stimulate their remembrance, resident dining and an enclosed courtyard to provide a safe and secure area to be in nature.

Additionally, Special attention was paid to lighting levels, circulation paths, and surface treatments to reduce the stress levels of the residents. Montana vernacular forms and materials were integrated throughout to provide a comforting sense of place and scale that is familiar for residents.
