Retirees from Missouri desired a “small, modern box in the woods” for their new home south of Missoula. It needed to fit into nature, but not overtake it.
The exterior of this 1,300 square foot object is clad in champagne colored custom metal panels, fabricated on site, which tie perfectly to the soils and stones of the land. All exterior materials were chosen with fireproof capabilities in mind. The interior has an open floor plan, filled with light and spaciousness.
