RUSSELL BRANCH
Missoula Federal Credit Union
This unique building sets a new standard for green building in western Montana. The board and staff’s goal was to create the most environmentally responsible building possible. To meet this challenge, the design team pioneered the use of 100% fly ash and recycled glass concrete, eliminating Portland cement from the project.
The project received the first gray water system approval from the City, forging the path for others. Numerous additional green efforts were incorporated into the building, resulting in a LEED Platinum rating from the USGBC.
