The steel-clad wedge-shaped volume contains a studio space for living and sleeping, a small kitchenette, bathroom, and storage. Glass covered redwood trellises at the entry and south patio provide shelter from the coastal climate. Low board-form concrete walls bound a shallow wraparound deck and help ground the home.
